Description

Lemon cucumbers are a unique variety of cucumber, known for their round shape and yellow, lemon-like skin. Despite their appearance, lemon cucumbers have a mild, slightly sweet flavor, less watery and more flavorful than regular cucumbers. They are rich in vitamins, particularly vitamin C, and contain antioxidants, making them great for boosting the immune system, promoting hydration, and supporting skin health.

To grow lemon cucumbers, plant them in well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight, ideally in late spring or early summer. Provide regular watering and space the plants well to allow for sprawling vines. They typically require about 50-70 days to reach harvest.

Lemon cucumbers are excellent in fresh salads, sandwiches, and wraps. They can also be pickled or used in salsas, cold soups, or as a garnish in refreshing beverages.

Cucumber Plug Plant Care:

Once received unpack immediately and stand the cucumber plugs in water to re-hydrate. Then plant (in biodegradable nursery bag) into a small pot containing compost for growing on and water in well.  Plant out after the last frost.
